Poles & signs
Pylon signs, light poles, billboards and flag poles.
Independent referral service. Border Quotes is not a contractor and does not own equipment or employ crews. We connect you with independent local companies, who quote and do the work directly. This is lifting, not towing.
New retail pads, car lots and plazas across the Valley need pylon signs, light poles and flag poles set, and older signs replaced after storms. Boom trucks handle most of these; tall pylons and billboards may need a larger crane.
Safety basics
- Call 811 (Texas811) before any digging so underground utilities are marked.
- Power lines are the biggest hazard: OSHA requires cranes to stay at least 10 feet away from lines up to 50 kV, more for higher voltage, unless the utility de-energizes them.
- Sign permits are handled by your sign contractor or the city — check before the lift date.
